Rules

  • Respectful behavior is required at all times. Loud noise and rowdiness in the hallways, dressing rooms and studios is not conducive to our learning experience and will not be tolerated.
  • Students must wait for their teachers before entering the classroom.
  • Dancers are expected to use the restroom BEFORE, not during, class.
  • Consistent tardiness is not acceptable.
  • Water bottles are permitted but must have lid that will prevent spills.
  • Applause is typical at the end of a ballet class. It demonstrates your appreciation for your teacher adn gives you and your classmates recognition of your hard work.
  • Parents/Dancers please DO NOT park where there is a designated parking sign for the tenants in the apartments. They are reserved for the tenants. Please be mindful of blocking apartment tenants/ studio patrons into a spot.

pointe shoes

Pointe shoes are for students who have completed Pre-Pointe and have had a pointe shoe consultation with Ms. Aubrey. A dancer can be seriously injured if they are put in pointe shoes too soon! All dancers must be at least 11 years old and may be asked to wait if their feet and ankles are not mature enough to handle the strain of dancing en pointe.
